Creative pleasures include any hobby, such as music, art, sports, writing, etc. I would establish 2 types of pleasures: creative and consumptive. The shortcoming we have observed across the spectrum is the inability to differentiate the types of pleasure. Hedonism is a well established problem that is addressed by everyone in the Right, even the most centrist and milquetoast. Thankfully, like most subjects, there is a third position that overcomes both of these, in which leisure and duty are of equal importance. However, despite these efforts the pinnacle flaw of our community is in falling for this dichotomy, in which rather than the expectation of chaste warriors, the reality is a Right-wing demographic that is sheltered, naïve, and life-denying. The reaction from most of the Right has been to promote asceticism and abstinence. In the contemporary world, the mainstream norm is an overflow of pleasure, as well as the accepted ideologies putting pleasure and comfort as their ultimate ends in life.
